Paint Correction (swirl removal), is labor intensive and utilizes nano-technology abrasives such as compounds and polishes. Some vehicles have thin soft clear coats while others are thick and hard, we treat every vehicle according to our paint analysis and base our steps around that. As said, There are several steps one MUST adhere to when performing Paint Correction and very few learn to properly master those steps, it's what separates true professional detailers from the rest.
In addition to our Paint Correction services listed below, we recommend the addition of a Protective Coating to help maintain and protect your new finish for the absolute longest period of time.
PAINT DEFECT TYPES
Swirls
Swirl marks are fine scratches on the surface of a vehicles paint occurring in a circular fashion. Often times they are most commonly caused by wiping/drying a vehicle with dirty & dry towels. Over time these microscopic scratches collectively add up with each wiping.
Minor Scratching
Minor Scratches are visible to the naked eye and don't penetrate deep like heavy scratching. These types of scratches can be seen without any lighting changes.
Holograms
Holograms are caused by the improper operation of a high speed buffing device often used to "Polish" or "Wax" a car. Dirty Pads, Inconsistent coverage, or excessive buffing over one area all contribute to causing Holograms.
Oxidation
Oxidation is due to UV Rays heating a vehicles paint surface. Heat then combines with Oxygen within the paint and will breakdown the molecule structure.
PAINT CORRECTION SERVICES
Single-Stage Paint Correction. |
Single Stage machine polishing is an entry level of Paint Correction, but can have a huge transformation in the finish. It can help remove light swirls, wash marring, and improve dull/hazy paintwork. Paintwork is often damaged over time from improper washing techniques, automatic car washes, or lack of regular maintenance. Japanese brand Automobiles for instance have softer paints, we can usually remove 50-70% of all swirls, haze, and light defects. German brand automobiles on the other hand have Harder paint, we can usually remove about 30-50% of swirls, haze, and light defects. There are several factors that directly dictate just how much we can safely achieve in a one-step process. Each vehicle has unique circumstances meaning there is no one system or product that works for all cars. Our advanced training in all modern polishes & polishing techniques allows us to custom tailor every vehicle. Exterior

Two-Stage Paint Correction. |
Two-Stage machine polishing can eliminate light-medium swirls, wash marring, oxidation, and improve dull/hazy paintwork. Paintwork is often damaged over time from improper washing techniques, automatic car washes, or lack of regular maintenance. This level of paint correction can remove 80% of surface defects. We recommend this service on a "daily-driver" as the result will be stunningly clear, and paint depth will be visible under direct lighting conditions. Exterior

Multi-Stage Paint Correction. |
Multi Stage machine polishing is the ultimate level of Paint Correction. It can remove all swirling, wash marring, and even the heaviest of scratches/defects. The Photo examples above (Before and After images) are of the multi-stage process and as seen the transformation is significant. It begins with a heavy compounding machine polishing stage to remove defects, followed by the secondary polishing stage which refines the finish, increasing gloss & clarity. Differences in paint types (Soft - Hard), condition, and vehicle size directly impact the rate of defect removal. In a Multi-Stage correction we will consult with each vehicle owner to provide a more precise pricing structure to meet specific demands/needs. A Multi-Stage correction is designed to remove 80-95% of all defects, Leaving your vehicle in a condition very close to that of a brand new vehicle. Exterior
